Ford Rear Dana 61 Axle w/3.07 Gears And LP Dana 44 3.07 Ring And Pinion With Carrier.
Dana 61 was removed from a 1978 Ford F350 with a 460 and C6.
Axle spring pads were professionally relocated to fit the earlier Ford frame width (67 to 72 2wd and 67 to 77-1/2 4wd). Might fit other models I'm not aware of.
Unit was used without issue on a 72 F250 4wd. I decided to reinstall my Dana 60 4.10 locker instead of swapping the front gears to match the rears (I'll be usind an OD instead).
Axle is complete drum to drum and includes emegency brake cables, E Brake cable length adaptor, speedometer gear, U-Bolts (for 2wd), and a fresh gear lube change.
Also included is a 3.07 ring and pinion, carrier, and new Timken bearing kit for a LP Dana 44 to make the complete 4x4 swap.
Shipping will be at buyers expense and arrangements but would prefer pick-up. Can palletize and load with fork lift.
$500 Firm.
Thanks for looking, hope it's just what you need. Al.
Hi, any chance these are still around? I haven't been here much and in a while and probably why I can't send a message or email this poster...looks like he hasn't been around in a while either.
No, I haven't been on the site for awhile. They sent me an email about your response to the posting.
Still have everything listed and it's all still for sale.
Where are you located? I'm in the northern valley of California (Chico, Redding, ect.).
Hoped to sell the stuff locally to avoid shipping but if you're willing to pay the shipping costs, give me a shout.
Had a guy from Texas call on it a couple days ago but shipping seemed to be prohibitive (would be pricey!).
You need to come up and get this stuff before one of these guys from the hundreds of responses I've had beats you to it (or before I have to load it on the truck and haul it outa here with me).
Give me a call if you decide to make the trip for it.
