efi to C4 kickdown cable question

Question for you guys that converted over to efi using the stock C4 auto trans mated to the 5.0 efi T/body. Lokar makes a nice kickdown or tv cable for this, I believe the pt# is 20c4ht. Here's my question. My throttle body arm travels 2 3/4" from idle to wot but my c4 kickdown arm only travels 11/16". How do I match the correct geometry. The way I see it is I'll bottom out on the trans arm only at part throttle. Did you guys lengthen the trans kickdown arm so the travel is equal to the Tb? The pics of the lokar cable on the summit site doesn't show anything as far as a modified bracket. Thanks for any replies.

Ok thanks. I think I can redrilll the t/b throttle bracket so the cable will attach closer to the center where there is less travel. This will decrease the movement of the cable from 2 3/4" down to maybe 1 1/2". I then could try and modify the stock kickdown arm so it will be longer and have equal travel from idle to wot. The cable will now have to attach to the back of the trans selector lever rather than the front. I'll let you know how it turns out.
