can I swap an 03 v10 in a 99 v10 truck

can I swap an 03 v10 in a 99 v10 truck

I just wanted to know if the 03 v10 is an easy swap for a 99 truck when I looked up the 03 motor it said 01-04. any help would be great.

Its cheaper and easier to just buy a newer truck. Unless you have a complete wrecked 2003 that you can pull everything out of. And I mean everything.......

The 00-04 PI V10 bolts right into the 99 trucks.
Is something wrong with your 99 or are you wanting the power gain?

Thats true when your trying to put a 3V engine into a 99-04 2v truck.

The 99 Non PI 2vs and the 00-04 PI 2Vs swap just fine.

He does have a 99 with the non- PI 2v. He wants to put an 03 PI 2V into it.
That works just fine.

Its just the 05+ 3V that won't work.

Missed that.
I asked the same question in regards to my 99'. But I wanted a 3V 6.8.
