I am in need of an 8ft bed for a 78 f250. i live in grand junction and am having problems finding one. i dont think that one should be that hard to track down but im also not the wealthiest person you ever met, so cheap would be nice but reasonable is the way things work. so i am lookin for an 8ft bed for a reasonable price, dont care about a tailgate can have one or not does not matter, color does not matter, dents and dings do not matter so long as its not the entire side of the bed, and yeah thats about it. let me know if anyone has any leads for me. thanks y'all

For a JY truck, it's about as good as any I've seen. I'm guessing the bed and tailgate will set you back about $200. You'd still have to figure out something for lights, as I'm sure those are gone by now.
thanks hypoid, but i have just come across a guy about 45 min away from me that wants to trade me straight across for my flat bed. the bed he has is from a 73 no major dents, expected rust above fender wells but not real bad, and comes with a straight tailgate. cant wait to go on days off and get the swap done. will try and post pics of the process.
