My manual shows that axel code 19 has a weight rating of 3800 lbs. and a 3.55 axle ratio.

Now that is a nugget my manual doesn't have. Perhaps you can answer a question about my axle. I have an F250 with axle code 65, which my table shows is a 4.10 ratio with a weight rating of 8250 lbs. Is it open or limited slip?

Thanks,
Scott

I've still got the page open. Axle H9 is 3.55 axle ratio with 3800 lb. weight rating. My table doesn't have anything about limited slip vs. open, though.

I take it "56" is just "65" transposed. If so, I thank you for confirming what I thought. Now I know that I really have to be careful about getting stuck in our slippery Willamette Valley clay soil.
