No brake lights or rear turn signals

This is getting frustrating I have no back brake lights or back turn signals. I do know that I need a new light socket on the drivers side. I took a test light and tested the fuses. Get power there. Tested the brake light switch. I was only getting power to the one side. Replaced it now it gets power to both sides when the pedal is pressed. But still no lights. I'm going to clean the grounds at the lights tomorrow. But if that doesn't fix it what should I check next?

I know you got dent but in my bumpside the same thing happen to me .turned out that the tab that holds the fuse in the fuse block the wire on the back side had corroded away . to fix I just got a blade style fuse holder and spliced it in . an used a 25 amp fuse problem solved . for me . it is just an idea you might want to check .

I've checked them with a test light and they both read fine but I'll look in the morning

Have you checked the plug at the back of the frame rail?

Driver's side frame rail at the last crossmember.

The other plug is near the frame rail and firewall.

I just had to clean up the plug at the firewall on mine a couple of days ago. Also after cleaning them up good use a good dose of dielectric silicone on them to help seal out the moisture and help prevent further corrosion. Im slowly getting every connection on my truck cleaned up and sealed with dielectric silicone.

you might also check the turn signal switch as that is also a path to the brake lights and rear turn lights
