I have oil puddling around the base of the oil filter. Can that related to the CAC (blue) turbo tube? I had the blue tube replaced.

 

If the boot had oil in it, common, then yes they could have got some down there. If the boot was weeping or torn then that more than likely is the culprit.

 

Thanks for the input. The shop could not find where the leak was and was planning to take out the oil filter to fix the leak. After they took of the oily and torn turbo boot they decided that it was more than likely the problem.
