Snow Plow opinions

I wanted to get your opinions on snow plows. We are now an authorized Curtis and Sno-Pro dealer but I haven't seen many of these running around here, mostly just Meyer and Boss.

Are any FTE members running Curtis plows?

As you well know, both of those brands are well established, very hard to go against..not saying what you are carrying is bad, but you got convince the big plowing boys in town to try them..

Btw way welcome to the chapter... and thanks for stepping up and becoming a sponsor as well...I pass by your place every now and then..

HI there welcome and thanks for your suppport. I don't have a plow but if I did I'd go Meyers I made parts for them at a old job trying to support local business.

Could not agree more on buy American. Curtis runs out of a 150,000 sq. ft. factory in Worcester, Mass. So yes buy American.

Welcome, and since we are talking plows I have a question. Why dont you see any 04-08 ford f150's with plows? Are they too wimpy to carry one?

I just checked the Curtis catalog, and we don't offer a plow kit for that range .

I will let you know if I find out WHY you don't see plows on those trucks. I would assume it has to do with mounting, and there just not being an effective and affordable way to do it.
