What psi do you run your tires at. The dealer put 40 psi in the tires and it has a lot of bulge where the tire meets the ground. I put them up to 44 psi but it seems like the tire tread is no longer flat. what would you all say the best psi to run these at?
not sure if this matters but they are E rated tires up to 80 PSI
thanks,

The decal on Wendy's Suburban states 35PSI but when the dealership reduces PSI to factory specs, she gets 13MPG vs me running them up to 50PSI and then she gets 15MPG. The same is true with my F-150. I get better MPGs at higher PSIs. Maybe less tread on the road means better MPGs plus I was listening to a auto tech on the radio the other day, he stated for snow it is better to run at an higher PSI as you will cut thru the snow better. He did say for sandy conditions you would want to lower your PSI for a wide traction, makes sense. Chris
