6.2L 2011 F150 Lariat

Have my new truck on order...Lariat 6.2L...wondering if anyone knows if it is flex-fuel capable (E85)...(not that I can ever find any gas stations offering this alternative)...just curious.

I don't think it is. I'll double check.

We have a few E85 pumps in our area, no one uses it except the postal vehicles which are mandated to use it. The loneliest pumps you'll ever see and for a good reason.

Thanks everyone. needless to say, I am counting down the days till delivery. The 6.2 is going to be a beast to tame...I will have to keep the lead foot in check.

Salesman at Ford dealership told me today when I asked about the Flex Fuel tailgate emblem, that all 2011 F150's come with Flex Fuel engines.

My truck (I bought it today), didn't come w/the 6.2L (got the 5.0L), so I'm not sure if that's the case or not.

Congrads on the new truck! What were you driving prior to the new one? Another F150 perhaps?

I traded in a 2008 Fusion (with 8,333 miles) I bought new 6/2008. I missed having a pickup, because...

This was the 8th Ford truck I've bought new (1965 F100, 1968 F250 Ranger, 1971 F100 XLT, 1979 F150 Super Cab Lariat, 1988 F150 Super Cab Lariat, 1992 F150 Super Cab Lariat, 2004 Super Crew Lariat).
