2.3 cylinder head

I recently cracked my head on my 94 ranger. I found anouther one but it has some differences. I noticed that the valve springs are a smaller diameter on the new one. the rockers and lobes on the cam seem to have a smaller width. there is also no water jacket on the intake side as where was on my old head. Now the water jacket isn't a beg deal to me cause the stock intake manifold doesn't have a matching jacket so basically the water gets head off. What is this head possible off? what do you think. I am not at the house otherwise i would give casting numbers.

StockRanger is starting off with a positive reputation.
They changed the head an intake starting in the '95 year. The '95+ intakes have a separate hot water intake, not from the head. Sounds like you just got a newer head than your engined was made for. Should still work.
