Id go with ARBs over something electric.

And unless youre buying something used Id stay away from Ebay. Plenty of good vendors that will sell you what you need at similar prices and offer service after the sale. The ebay douches probably have no idea what they are selling or how to install them.

Same basic setup on both as any other carrier. Otherwise either run an air line or a wire.

the e-locker comes with its own specific diff cover which has a solenoid mounted on it. with an arb you have to drill/tap your housing or cover for an air line fitting/hole. for a daily driver/beach truck i'd go cheap and just get a set of tracklock limited slips for both axles. they don't really bind the steering, especially on loose surfaces like sand.

I'd go with a selectable in the rear and a power-lock front, I never had an issue turning with a welded rear and power lock up front. Power lock front is the only way to go in my book. 90-95% lock up with the ability to turn and less broken parts then locker will give you.

if i had to build my own axles i would say powerlock all the way. hopefully i get these built ones i'm after.

joe's is a dd i think, so welded rear is out. but a cheapo trac-lock will work for the rear to save on cost.

A regular locker in the rear and a Powder lock up front. I have a aussie locker in the rear of my DD, hardly notice it on the street. And the power lock is on my to do list. Real soon cuz my spiders up front are shot.

i don't get the whole "selectable rear" argument. if you are going to spend that kind of cash, put it in the front, rear full lockers are not that harsh, unless you are a huge gapping vajeena of a man.

p.s. i had one when i first learned to drive in winter weather and it wasn't too hard to get used to and understand, and i was wasted half the time, so grow a pair and learn to understand yer vehicle a little if you have one.
