Grinding noise, please help?

Hi 2004 F250 CrewCab 2wd. Grinding noise whenever moving which seems to come from LF wheel. I replaced the bearings, races, and seal, and packed well with grease. Had already dome this on RF a few months back. Noise still there. Thought maybe tranny, but noise is there in neutral too. When I changed the bearings on LF, noticed the end of the spindle was a little blue, and somewhat scored, but not too bad, and I thought with new bearings shouldn't be an issue. I didn't have a procedure for tightening or adjusting the nut, so I just tightened until wheel was harder to turn then backed off a little till wheel turned freely with no play. Any other causes like driveshaft bearing or something else??? Thanks!

Have you confirmed you don't have any brake or caliper issues. At how slow of a speed is it first heard? Try jacking up wheel and see if you can rotate it fast enough to hear it.

Starts right away, and wheel is silent when spinning while off ground. Not ABS. I know what that sounds like and you'd feel it in brake pedal.

So, I found the noise! It's the center support bearing. Now, how much can I expect to spend to have it (and all ujoints) replaced???

LOL! Yeah, I don't use the truck much, but have been lately, so the noise started to bug me again.
