Socket Sizes

I was wanting to make a list of the bolt sizes on out trucks. I do not need to take every socket I have, So I am making a small travel tool box.

I know that some of the Pro's. will be able to tell us easly. All they need to do is look at what tools are warn in there boxes

I keep an 11mm deep-well socket in case I blow a charged air hose.

A set of metric sockets doesn't take that much space.

I carry the basics: wrench set, sockets, extensions, ratchets, multi-screw driver, big standard screw driver (works as pry bar if needed), multi-torx, multi-allen, various pliers, needle nose, channel locks, duct tape, some hose clamps, and a few zip-ties. It all fits in a tool bag the size of a shoe box.

hahaha cheezit. know exactly what you mean.

have a tool truck on the farm. when something breaks down in the field you have enough tools to get good and dirty. then right before you get the part out, you realize you forgot something. it can be just driving half mile back to shop or a 30 min ride one way.

bfh, framing hammer, 6" cresent, 12" cresent, 4 pairs of channelocks (small ones, 9",9.5", 10"), a prybar screw driver, a 10n1 screw driver and a pair of kliens. with that you can repair just about anything given enough time. i keep a fairly complete socket/ wrench set with multiple ratchets, all of the above listed tools, a allen wrench set, torx sockets t15-t55 or 60 duct tape small zip ties all the way to 36" zip ties 2 sets of jumper cables a 88-98 chevy tire tool (the ultimate pry bar/ multi use tool) and various rachet straps... this takes up about 25% of my tool box but i feel pretty confident in what i can tear up with it all though
