Thats not bad highway mileage actually. I'm guessing 3.73 gears? That aand your trucks lighter weight probably helps out. My truck is pushing 10,000 lbs with a full tank and full passenger load. That and 4.30 gears puts the boot to any decent mileage if I'm bangin around town, but helps out on the highway when lugging along that 17,000 lb pig of a camper.
I love my truck though. Gives me warm fuzzies every time I get in it, mileage be damned. I really liked my old V10 SD, but I just love this one. I drive it anywhere and everywhere every dang day. Too bad winter's coming because it has to go into hibernation. Can't have that Ohio salt eating it alive. Haven't fealt that way about a vehicle since the first new one I bought.

Irregardless of the GearVendor, I did see a significant increase in fuel economy over pre Spartan. In a situation where I had been getting 13.5-14 MPG new, in stock configuration, had dropped to 12-12.5 MPG at two and a half years. After deleting the DOC/DPF and tuning with Spartan the mileage went up to 16.5-17 with the same driving and mechanical drive train. That is somewhere between a 20 -40% increase in fuel economy depending on how you crunch the numbers. So I feel very comfortable telling the OP that fuel mileage will increase if your driving habits remain the same.
For the other part of his question, reliability, I can't say much at this time.. I have only had it installed for 6 months. Although I can say that the only two times I have had an issue with my truck, they were emissions related and were prior to installing Spartan.
For the unasked question...the power increase is freaking amazing.

Spartan Programer or EDGE
I now have the New Edge CTS2. I paid about $550 for it. I am thinking of returning it and get the New Spartan, it cost about $1,600 or so. I have a 2015 F350 dually 6.7L Power-stroke pulling a 40ft 16,000 lbs 5th wheel. Is it worth the money or should I stay with what I have. I now get 15mph with a AEF cold air intake. 10.0 mph towing....

Spartan tuning tunes the engine and the trans so you get the full benefits of the tuning. In addition Spartan has options on torque converter lock up which helps towing and extends the life of the trans-well. If the Spartan is in the budget i would get it hands down no questions. I currently have several trucks running the spartan tuning.
I would also ditch the DPF and EGR system. Its not legal but its the only way your gonna get any high milage out of these engines. I have been buying trucks at cheap prices that have failed engines and flipping them in my free time, every truck with a failed engine is almost always emission related its just sad how bad the emissions kill these engines when without the emission equipment the trucks run great and are very reliable.
