will the stock shock tower for ifs suspension work with a straight axle?

 

no, shock mounts from an F250/F350. the coil buckets should also be changed over to the 78/79 Bronco/f150 model

I would highly recommend you do a search on Google for SAS swap forum. you will find a larger amount of info pertaining to this.

 

what do you mean?the stock towers from a f2 or 3 would work just not an f150

 

do the search and find the forum that is dedicated to this topic and you will see why. This is not a 100% bolt on swap and will require fab/weld skills.

 

yes im aware of that. i just need to know if i need to order 1979 shock and coil towers..if my stock dual shock towers don't work.
