2011 SD Mud Guards
Just passing along some info: Got an email today from Engineering Manager of Winfield Consumer Products/Husky Liners that Mud guards are now shipping for the 2011 SD. I have no idea what they look like maybe i can get a pic.

Mike,
The front and rear mud guards for the 2011 Super Duty without the OEM/factory flares are now shipping. We have another set of mud guards for the “with flares” version of the Super Duty that will be available later this month.

The link you posted is a dead end. Thanks for the heads up I really want a set.
Edit: I have the flared fenders so it looks like I'll be waiting.

Thanks for the info! Like I said I have the flared wheel wells so I have to wait a bit longer. Thats certainly a good price! If you wouldn't mind PM'ing me the instructions, I'll give them a look and see what I'm up against for installation. Thanks again!

Any drilling involved? How easy was the protective film to put on? Thanks for the input! I can't wait to put these on, I'm sick of the mud on my steps.

The protective film is very easy to put on its just a sticker. The directions call for drilling which I followed but you could easily get away without drilling if you wanted to.The mudflaps seem plenty sturdy before I drilled the holes and added the other screws.

Thanks, but I'll have to give them a call tomorrow. Their web site says there will be a $10 shipping charge for each item shipped to Alaska, and to place an order for Alaskan shipment, it must be done by phone and not on their web site.
I run into this periodically at work, and it's amazing how companies can make shipping stuff to Alaska so complicated. It's as simple as shipping the item Fedex, UPS, or USPS for whatever the shipping rate comes up. Some times if I really want or need a product and the company insists they can't ship to Alaska, I have them ship to my freight forwarder in Seattle. Most times, I chalk it up as their loss for a sale. Unless it's a specialty item, there are many fish in the sea ready to sell.
Thanks again. If anyone else happens to live in Alaska and found a retailer set up to easily ship these mud flaps to Alaska, I'd like to know. New resources are always welcome. I don't know that you can PM me yet though.
