Help on rear brakes for 78 F-350 dually
I have a 1978 F-350 dually and I need to get to the rear brakes. I have done brakes before but never on a one ton dually truck and I am afraid I might damage something so I wanted to ask how do you remove the hub to get to the brakes? Do you have to take off the bolts in the middle of the hub or do you just bang it off? thanks

Hi I just got done doing a brake job on my dually and i have to remove hub an drum. here's some pics
cause the drum is mounted to the back of the hub. the other pic is of a newer rear dually axle . there is a lock ring with tabs that need to b e bent back so you can remove the spindle nut outer then the lock ring then the inner spindle nut . the hub, drum should slide off if not adjust the brakes off .
