hmm don't know all ya'lls ages but being 35 I grew up with the 80s F series and personally don't like the 80-86 front clips. I Prefer the 87-91s AND 92-96 for different reasons but there in my opinion is absolutely nothing wrong with either my 87 or 90 F150 front end I think both had a buttload of personality you wanna talk about lacking personality and Verging of a S10 Clone look at those Hideous 97 F150s now those things are Grotesque but alas I am a Product of my generation and am biased lol
I'd compare the comparison to the 87-91 and 92-96 to comparing a 67-72 with a 73-79 and saying one or the other is ugly I own two 87-91 body style trucks and wouldn't change a damn thing on either except the mileage look at the mileage on the 87 in my Sig and THAT quote on quote UGLY Ford still retains factory compression as verified by not 1 not 2 not even 3 but rather 4 independent mechanics/techs. the 90s got the smoothest running 300 I've had the pleasure of interacting with although it also runs the crappiest overall thanks to the imbeciles that had it before me doing absolutely ZERO maintenance on it at all. but that complete and total lack of maintenance and the fact at idle it runs as smoothly as it does speaks volumes and volumes about the quality of Ford engines. I've also seen a specimen of the 5.0L in a truck(the same 5.0L that catches so much flak for being neither a 300 or 351) do the seemingly impossible aswell

After 8 beer, i think 87-91 are damn sexy!!! I personally love the 87-91. Got me a 90 250in the works. I couldnt pin point why really...perhaps the fact that it's got that bulky, big *** beefy look. Its a mud duck, should be dirt. I mean....I cant remember the last time I saw a 2011 Ford F350 out wheelin...

Eddiec1564 the headlights on our models are glass halogens.
I have just painted the inner of my grill white with the chrome trim and fitted a chrome bugg grill behind it, I was not to sure on the look at first but it is growing on me
I had a bug guard on the bonnet and have just removed it and in the process of fixing up the paint where it had rubbed through it, if the weather permits and I get it touched up will try to post a pic of the front.

I like way better the 87-91 bricknose much better than the 92+. The Bricknose looks much more like a work truck, and makes it look tougher!
Although I must admit, I like what you done with your lights, makes them stick out more, look "different" but they simply look like the 2B1 sealed beams the E-series vans have 1979-1991.
I really don't like the 92+ front clip for the simple reason, it makes an old body style truck look to "modern" to new, to clean, to stylish.
I'd take a Bricknose way before a 92+, but in my opinion, the best front clip of this body, is the first one, 80-86!
But NOTHING compares to the bumpside 67-72 and dent side 73-79 trucks! Nothing tops those! Those are what I call a REAL truck!

80-86 was definitely the best ford did with this body style. I also prefer the interior of the older ones as well. Although the early woodgrain look was pretty bad, especially with the cush seats. Give me my plain jane, rubber floor, black plastic trim, manual window bronco any day.

I like that black bumpside! Looks sharp! Needs chrome though.
I do have to say the bump/dent sides do have rather small cabs. I almost bought on a 1975 F100 Explorer 390 FE block, 3 speed on the tree, no power and no power brakes, was orange! The perfect truck i've been looking for, for a long time last Saturday. I sat in it for a while looking at everything, the seat was all the way back, and my knee hits the steering wheel when I move my leg from the gas pedal to the brake. But still, still nice and drivable for me! With a big ol' hard plastic skinny steering wheel!

The 87-91 is my least favorite of the 80-96 trucks. But done right they can look tough as hell!
I'm sorry but those Aussie head lights just make the truck look like it's wearing some bad eye glasses!
I like the bricknose trucks much better when you black out all the trim/chrome. If I ever get around to my 91 F450 that's what I'll be doing.
The other thing is the interior always has bugged me on the 87-91 trucks. It just seems cheap compared to the looks and feel of the 80-86 and the 92-96 trucks.
That being said I've probably owned over 20 different 87-91 Ford trucks.

The interiors started getting really cheap in 87, and got worst and worst ever since....
At least the bricknose interior still has some "old" fashion styling, but all plastic!
The 92+ got way ahead of time, digital mileage, **** heater controls, etc.! And I find the dash to bulky, like to close to you! I guess they did that for comfort, so you don't have to lean forward and streach your arm out to reach the radio or controls....
Personnally though, I like having the dash as far away from you as possible, and the 70's trucks do a great job at that! Makes the interior look much bigger and roomier.

All the 80+ Ford trucks have a big bulky dash. I don't have that problem with my 54 cab!
