I'm getting about 18 on the highway. 12 in the city if my foot is easy on her . Got my '08 superduty 5.4L from Texas Direct Auto and a few days later put a K&N CAI and tuned with DiabloSport Predator. Magnaflow Dual Exhaust is on now and next is a high flow cat. Definitely satisfied with performance and MPG .

I am new and just got my truck a year ago.. I get 18 highway and 16 city. It is lifted 9 inches with 355/60R20 nitto terra grapplers. it has the 355 gears, cold air, electric fan conversion, exhaust and manual locking 4x4 hubs. it has been a great investment for me. i tow ocasionally but not often..

When first installed it felt like I dropped a bigger engine in, instantly went up about 2 - 4 MPG. I also noticed that it accelerates madly! I'm getting 0-60 in 6.76 which ain't shabby for a pickup. I drive like a country boy (both feet flat on the floor!) and I still get better mileage than babying a stock truck ( I drive one just like mine at work sometimes and it only gets about 10.2 on a good day. All in all it's the best mod I've done as far as effect for the dollar. That said, if I had to do it again I would have started with a Gryphon, it's an Evolution that's been modded to have more than 3 settings (like mine only has Economy, Towing, and Extreme), plus their custom tunes are cheaper, they also take a little longer to get it back to you, but worth the wait. Now I have to send mine in to have it upgraded into a Gryphon, that's gotta wait until my Harley's back on the road - I'll save enough in gas every month to pay for more mods.

I have a 2002 F-250 with just shy of 200k with the 5.4. I am the third owner. Original owner, and most of the miles, was a fleet operator.
I drove from Milwaukee to Minneapolis a few weeks ago. I hit just shy of 14.5 mpg. From a practical standpoint, the entirety of the trip is interstate. I averaged, other than construction zones, around 72 mph with significant fluctuations in speed. (Cruise needs to be fixed.)
The truck has a small life and much larger than stock tires. Other than that it is stock.

Now I don't feel so bad. I have a E350 15ft box truck,5.4,only mod is K&N air filter empty(9000lb) or with a 3000lb load. If I keep in under 65mph I get 12mpg,but never drop below 9mpg and that doing 75 to 80 loaded.
I'm think of taking the cat off and running a straight pipe anybody have any input?
