looking for 1965-66 ranger seats and centre console, any condition or leads to where i may get these from, the seat are supposed to standard mustang 64-66,console is supposed to be 64-66 falcon or comet part numbers would be good, also i need the extra loom or pattern/photo of the loom that plugs from camper special loom to trailer or camper, many thanks garymartin@vodafone.co.nz
The bucket seats/seat tracks are the same as: 1965/70 Mustang; 1967/70 Cougar (except '69/70's with high back buckets).
The upholstery is specific to either '65 or or '66 Rangers and is the same as '65 or '66 Mustang, except: The upholstery used in Rangers does not have the running horse on the Lazy Back that some '65/66 Mustangs came with.
The special Ranger only brackets that raise and level the seats (bolt to the floor, then to the tracks) are reproduced, available from FTE member Bill W.
I cannot give the Ford part number for a complete seat, because Ford sold all the parts individually: Seat track / Bottom seat cushion frame & padding / upholstery // Lazy back frame and padding / upholstery.
Ditto for the console, all the parts were sold individually. I doubt any of the part numbers will do you any good, regardless.
The upholstery is reproduced, as is the padding. Some parts of the console are reproduced (dearbornclassics.com), most are not. I doubt any source will have NOS parts for any of this.
Your best bet for the seats/upholstery is to contact the myriad Mustang repro shops here in CA = Mustang's Only (Van Nuys) & Mustang Service Center (North Hollywood), for examples.

I cannot give you the Ford part number for the camper wire harness, because...there isn't one.
Camper Special's (C/S) came from the factory with a pigtailed wire harness/plug, which was placed inside the glove box at final assembly.
This was to be used for the camper's clearance lights. It plugged into the C/S (only) taillamp harness that had an extra feed wire for this purpose.
The problems are: Many of these pigtailed wire harness/plugs are missing today and were never available from Ford.
If lost, customers were oughtta luck, because FoMoCo did not supply it. It was only available with the truck!
