if i wanted a an all wheel /4 wheel drive 2000-2003 harley f150
ive loved these trucks sense i first saw one when i was in high school. but i live in a climate where 2wd trucks are no good. if i wanted to convert a 2000 to 2003 harley f150 to either all wheel drive or 4 wheel what would it take. im at the point in my life where i wana buy what i want and im not a big fan of the newer f150 harleys. could a simple 4 wheel drive swap work i know its alot to do but is it possible and not cost a fortune. im no stranger to wrenchs sooo ill do the work my self, just have no idea if the parts will even bolt up!
Probably the smartest thing to do would be , find a 2000 to 03 4X4 Supercrew and turn it into a Harley clone.
You can find complete interiors out of wrecked Harley's. Then put the same motor in,,paint it and you'll have what your looking to do without butchering a nice Harley truck.
I can tell you I was wanting to put a 2wd front-end under my truck and it would not bolt up. Everything had to be fabricated.
So I just removed the T case and front diff.

you know after posting this i thought of the same thing! can i find an OEM style harley front lip that can bolt on. i imagine i could buy a some what decent supercrew for about 7ish or so, then buy a salvage one and gut the whole thing for somewhere around 4ish probbaly!
By front lip do you mean the lower valance?
The front valance is very high in demand. Lot of guys looking for them. And they go quick when someone puts them up for sale.

10 to 1 says i can lift off the body and put it on a 4wheel drive chassis and to make that even better im shure i could find one with the automatic Tcase engagement

You can also check ebay classifieds & craigslistcrawler & junkyarddog for the parts. An find some brochures an stuff on the Harley trucks to make sure you have all the parts you need.
