Glovemeister, I traded a flat bed trailer for it. It has the 460 in it. it was a repo from a title loan place a few years back. It had not ran in 5 or 6 years, and previous owner felt it was junk and did not want to put any time into fixing it. so a battery and some tires and rims later I've put a few thousand miles on it right up till the case broke.

Hard to believe somebody thinks a 93 F-350 is junk and not worth messing with.....
Some folks have odd thought process.

Thats a screaming deal! I was gonna ask who you had to draw down on to get that , just kidding you I wouldn't mind getting one of those if I don't dd my 84 Ford. Its in good shape and I'll be money ahead if i just fix it up.

That's the way I look at it.

$20k or more for a "newer" truck, or keep the '95 that's paid off and fix it up and rebuild it for less money...

No brainer for me!

I wont buy another new truck. After paying off my excursion i decided it is foolish to throw the extra money out the window for new.The payment, is always in my mind going to outweigh the occasional repair.

On a different note, I scored 2 new rear case pieces today for the trans.

One is used the other is NOS. so now the fun begins.
