Its time to start planning for Kearney Cruise Night 2011! Any of you who have been, get it on your schedule. It is July 14, 15 and 16. The Car Show is Saturday, July 16 but there will be a lot of fun stuff going on that entire weekend. Of course the Quinn's will more than likely have the annual Cruise BBQ on Saturday night.
This year may be a little different as I may have some things I will need to take care of out at the Drag Strip on Saturday evening. NAPA sponsors a Quick Race at the track that weekend and I may need to make some special introductions out at the track.
I will post more as it comes available, just wanted to make sure you all got it on your calanders!
Maybe Pat can bring the 67 on a trailer and I will of course have my 56 there. That way you can all critique our work!!
Actually Pat I was trying to Ron Caps to come this year. He has an open weekend during cruise night, but he is going on a family vacation during that time so he would be there. This means that I will probably not be going out to the track. So guess I will just have to sit in my lawn chair and enjoy the show! Unless I lose my mind and decide to go cruising! Is your brother coming? Looking forward to it already - can't wait for warm weather!
Back is Better and in a couple more weeks I think it will be back to normal. Sad thing is my deductible pretty much ate up any fun money I had. I get to pay 2 years deductibles on this deal so I am out $8,000. Looks like the 56 goes on the back burner (poor use of words) again.
Yea, had surgery on January 21st. They had to go in take out a disk and grind some bone away where the nerves sit. It is much better. Probably wont be released for anther 4 to 6 weeks. Still sitting around a lot but am able to have a beer from time to time and can walk again.
2011 Cruise night info.. .ahhhh, i cant wait for it to get nice and stay nice!! I guess it gives me time to get a few things ready for the summer. Glad to hear that you are doing better George!

Well Pat, now is the time to consider Rob's classic truck rental service... for a small (large) fee, I'll let you cruise around in my truck.
I'm sure I still won't have the AC installed because my truck improvement fund never seems to have any money in it! But, you like the miserable hot weather anyway...
Rob, you forget. I have my own little red furnace to drive around in! I'm a little concerned about our family vacation interfering with this, but I'll know more in a few weeks.
