would you be interested???

well...I have been thinking on a little side business venture selling some motor oil....I have been using this for years and always getting orders from family members...hopefully with enough interest I can do it full time.I will throw out a couple basic prices(only plan on selling cases at first) and let me know

synthetic 5-40 diesel 4gal case $70
full synthetic 5-30 6qt case $23

I still need to get weights for shipping ect...and I am waiting on prices for other weights, gear and trans oil ect.

Let me know as I am really considering taking this venture....figure I would get local opinions before I jumped in.

Thanks!

forgot this part

the diesel oil is Purus
and the other is service pro(made by pensoil)

I run both and get good results from Blackstone.
I am on 10k intervals on the wifes Audi and my cummins...have not sent in a test sample with the PSD yet...only have about 1.5k on this first change since I bought it

Not that big of a rush for me. I'm not putting many miles on my truck right now. But I will be interested in both. I'm picking up an 07 JK on Friday, so I can use both oils.

Stopped selling AMSoil huh?

purus I've heard is a good oil.
I don't think i'd hold it over ams or schaefers though. (personal opinion)

The problem with selling oil is any of these companies that make you sell minimums like schaefers, you will work your *** off for no reward.
Scheafers wants you to sell 10k worth of product in your first 3 to 4 months to become official dealer.
here in michigan, its just not possible.
The current schaefers rep here in michigan lives over by tim, and i'm told that he is just scraping buy on sales.

I dont have purus listed on any of my oil test sheets here, but that doesn't really mean anything.

No matter how good the oil is though, running oil for too long in a HEUI injection system is just bad news unless you are running a bypass system.

Even then, TJ will tell you not to go over 5k.
He changes his at 3k and he's running a bypass. I change mine from 3-5k on my system without a bypass.

No matter how good the oil is, the HPOP will break down the oil. Duramax's and cummins do not have to suffer though 3000-4000 PSI oil rails and pumps constantly sheering oils.

blah blah blah. i could talk more.

Not dissing product though, just warning PSD guys not to go 10k. I dont know about your guys' seat of the pants o meters, but I can tell when my oil starts to break down in my truck. Truck doesn't idle as well and looses throttle response.

I'll get with you and come over and check it out more Ron. And If I know anyone, I'll be sure to set you up with their contact info.

If you really want to look at this from a reality standpoint, this oil will be better than 95% of the oils you buy in the store.
Generally privately sold products like schaefers and AMS, as well as a few others are made from a more pure base and have more attention put into them than other products you can get off the shelf.
The next best part of them is better protection for the same or cheaper price than the shelf brand oils as well.

Thanks for the input...I am doing the first change on the PS @ 5k and sending it in to Blackstone to see where its at.....The nice thing is I will not have to meet a min requirement like the ones you mentioned....I can still get Amsoil....but I found this @ half the price and getting the same results....so it was a no brainer.
