Pedal Problems

Hi,
I just recieved my new interior(custom leather seats with tweed inserts) and I was going to install my new ($130) Trenz pedal set and low and behold they don't fit. Maybe they do and I don't know how to
take of the old ones. Here what I did/see:

1)
I took off the old rubber piece off the pedal.

2)
Under that is a solid piece of metal attached to the pedal arm.
Looks like it welded or somehing like that.My new pedals has four holes drilled in them and where they suppose to go have none !!!

I guess what I am saying is how do you take off the gas, clutch, brake, and emergecy brake pedals. Maybe I am not doing this right and
they are really suppose to fit. What I wrote above my sound confusing
but I hoping someone out there can understand and help me.

By the way the truck is a 90 F-350.
I bought them from Stylin Concepts and maybe sent me the wrong type.....again!!!

Thanks,

Pedal Problems

I am not familiar with these at all, but on some, you must drill the original pedal and screw the cover to it. So you are not really taking the old pedal off, your just putting a cover on it. Like I said, I am not familiar with these at all

Pedal Problems

Thanks,
You are right! I called Tranz and they said that you most
drill holes for the new screws. They just happen to forget
to include the instructions . But this still leaves
one question, how do I take off the gas pedal?
Thanks for your reply,

Pedal Problems

If it's like the ones on Mustangs, you will have to take the arm off and knock a pin out I believe. You may be able to get to the pin without taking the arm off.
