This needs seven more - like I said, I'll wait for 'em - but will you?

What's it gonna be...

"SMOKE AND THUNDER"

It's an open ended contest, but there have to be ten in each round

*I'm having computer trouble - but I have good people helping me.

If anything goes wrong I can pass word, but so far it looks like only Internet Explorer was the reason (I switched to Mozilla Firefox)

This post is an initial test

If I can't work it out this week - I'll holler for help. I never do that lightly either, because I'm not used to it.

Final stage of testing and verification:

If this picture shows I can DO THIS!!!

YES!!!

*Note the "picture frame" that I put around it

It seems that I only have problems with the "ATTACHMENTS" at FTE - and it may be because I have exceeded my limits there. BASED ON THIS I AM UP AND RUNNING: THE SHOW GOES ON!!!

On we go!

You know - one of the things that makes these contests all kinds of addictive is that we never know what the heck we're about to see next...

GREAT ACTION PICTURES!!!!

What did it look like when it came back to the surface?
(You ought to name that truck "TIDAL WAVE")

Absolutely awesome...

thanks. lol i think that was the aug.15th race not much damage on that one but the one for the race on sept.12th race knocked back the walkaway blew out the right headlight bucket, knocked the bumper mounts loose and busted the radiator reservoir tank. haha still held up for 1 more lap and won the stock class 1st place.
if you look in my garage you can see the new front end i had to put on it.
there is also videos of the truck racing on youtube

Just installed and painted the Brake Master Cylinder:

As for what is "wild and amazing about my truck", is this:

The Specifications are in my signature.

Ouch! But it stood up and won anyhow...

It looks like you have a lot going on - and made some serious progress too!
That IS a one-of-a-kind truck, not many were ever made. Like the Ranchero - it's a discontinued line.

NOW there are a half dozen...

This is actually the first time I have seen the full thread so far with Oreo's truck (we are beginning to get sort of graphic's heavy for a dial-up conn like mine). I was determined to see it all - so I sat back and had a beer. I guess I will have to shorten the number of posts per page that I see so that it will help me do my job here.

We now have seven - the time is coming soon when we will have a poll put together and I can see it is going to be another difficult one.

Not that it will be hard to put up - I can do that almost in my sleep by now...
But how can we pick between trucks like these???

dont think it will be that hard. close race between cdr and jfritts. think jfritts is in the lead, diesel conversion and rarity of bronco conversion puts it in the lead. nothing really "crazy, wild or amazing" about the camper special and my truck other then being huge, its not much visually exciting. done a lot to it, but nothing's really visual. its pretty much all listed in my signature.

You can never really be that sure what will turn some people on or off....

Some amazing dead-locks have happened before. I try very hard not to go overboard with the graphics because each ought to be seen in it's own light....

Some people see the money that went in.
Some think only of style.
Some think in terms of preservation!

It's never the same any time.

But we haven't got a poll yet, have we?

I WILL NOT present any truck in a unique way that purposely presents it any better than another
BE WARNED!
~Each stands on it's own merits - therefore you should post the best "CAMEO" that you can - and a very thorough description so that it can be judged just as it is.

They speak for themselves, as always.

Your best tool is a good three quarter on shot, followed by a narrative of what it has, that you have done to it, and any trophies it has won.
BLUNTLY: Talk up your wheels, since we can't be there to see them side by side. Tell us everything you can...

I WILL post all of it - but there can only be one picture. ~ SO TAKE YOUR BEST SHOT!!!

HINT: For people Racing Trucks - It can be at the trophy area

(503racing - this is to you) You have an excellent shot of a POND SPLASH. Please post a picture of your race truck....
All I can see is mud splattering everywhere. AND YOUR TRUCK LOOKS LIKE?

(This space reserved for 503racing)

i agree on the pic of 503racing. cant even tell that theres a truck under there... action shots are always cool but you want them to be clear enough to see the truck well, and the quality of the pic is important. cell phone pics wont do any truck justice unless the lighting is right.
