I have a 98 F150 4x4 with a 5.4L Triton motor. I want to convert it to a dually and would like any help or advise from anyone who has experience doing this mod. Any help would be appreciated.
There is going to be quite a bit of suspension swapping you will have to do! Both front and rear.. If you have the D44 up front, you will need to swap out with a D50 or go all out with a D60, then get the dually front hubs, or the D50/D60 dually front hubs. With the rear, you will need the Sterling 3/4 or 1 ton axle and swap out as well. Now thats just the basic "want a dually look". I really wouldnt suggest doing that with a F-150 unless you have a lot of ambition, time and some green.
