Powerstroke Bronco on EBay

Check out this 1984 Bronco with a 7.3L Powerstroke and drivetrain from a 1997 F-350! It has always been a dream of mine to swap a cummins or powerstroke into one of my broncos. Wish I had the cash for this one.

94 XLT White/ Silver 302 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
He doesn't have a reserve, so it can be bought for 8K. If your the only bidder.

ive actually seen alot of these locally.. mainly alot of 7.3 turbo idi's and even a bronco centurion with a 7.3 powerstroke swapped in. wouldnt the 7.3 idi be easier to swap in because they ran them in the same body style?

One would have to assume so.

Powerstroke came out in 95, main difference the IDI would be less electronics if needed, probably why it also has the 97 dash swapped in.

That's why I figure you would see more idis in the 87-91 and more powerstrokes in the 92+ broncos. The dash would have been the same and everything

Just on cosmetics, its pretty much an entire different world behind the dash of a powerstroke truck. I've heard it's best to swap the entire dash n all no matter the year.

if you read it all the way through it says he basically wants $9,500 or you don't get all the bells and whistles with it. if you seriously wanted it i'd call and say hey i have $10k cash in hand, i'll take it. bet he'd go for it.

but i wouldn't pay it. nice bronco, but who wants to pay that much for a hoped up 200,000 mile diesel with the original tranny???? its a huge repair bill waiting to happen.
my $0.02

It's still a great idea though. I miss driving my 95 Powerstroke, thanks to the e4od.

Very nice bronco, I like it. That's a lot of coin though...

has no reverse, tries going forward in every selection, from what i've read most likely needs a new tranny, or rebuild. I found my Bronco for about the price of a rebuilt e4od an went with it. I'll eventually get around to replacing it, cash flows not quite there right now.
