the next GTG

Let's hear from others on what and where we should meet and try to do something as a group.

There is a ton of stuff we can do, but last minute won't work. So lets hear it.

Camping, canoeing, silver lake dunes, St Ignace car show, Woodward dream cruise.......What have ya got......

Knowing from experience, these are a ton of fun.

It would also be helpful to Pat (not that I think he will be upset that I say this) that someone from the area that is chosen can step up and "co-host" to do some leg work and help find some fun things that the whole family can do.

I'm up for anything. Time off and senority dictates a lot.

1. Camping: I would have to rent a small camper if the site doesn't have cabins. I've checked rental places already.

2. Silver Lake dunes: Don't know where it is.

3. Woodward Cruise: All for it. Only a few minutes from the house. I would be more than willing to help out. The problem is the major corperations have reserved most of Woodward's big areas. Fords major placement for the past few years has been in downtwon Birmingham off of old Woodward.

I will not be in town July 25-28th. The american austin bantam car club is having thier annual meet in Dayton, Ohio.

After reading the Lane car show info it seems pretty cool. I wouldn't enter my truck for anything, but I would go to it for sure. As of now May 28th is open for me. It's to far in advance to request the day off.
