DPFE Sensor location on Ford F250 2006

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to know if anyone know where the DPFE Sensor (Delta Pressure Feedback Electronic Sensor) is located on a Ford F250 XLT 5.4L.

I look on the fire wall and driver side of the engine and I can't find anything. I believe I'm looking for a unit that has two hose coming out of it. Diagram or picture will be helpful.

Thanks,

IIRC, a 3v 5.4L engine doesn't have a DPFE sensor.

redford - Are you sure about that? I was searching around and the unit is flat with two tubes coming out of it. Some site tell me is located on the fire wall, enigine (driver side) or on the exhaust manafold. I believe I have to remove my Air filter unit and it will be under that. Again I'm not so sure.

I will call a ford dealer and see what they say. If I get any infomation I will post it.

redford- You are right, the 3V engines do not have a DPFE sensor. The Ford dealer could not bring up a part for that year and model.

I posted a P0174 code (System too lean - Bank 2). When I looked up the code it stated check MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor. I clean the MAF but the truck still rides rough. It loses power once an while when driving. When you come to a complete stop the truck shakes like crazy.

I don't know if I need a new MAF, do you have any ideas.

Also (may sound silly) but check your PCV valve also.

He really cant check the PCV, its under the valve cover. Really! Actualy I was told by ford it is part of the valve cover. Want to replace PCV, you have to replace Valve cover....

what about an O2 sensor? I know there is a specific code for that but could it be a factor here?
