Question Are Big Bronco frames the same on '78-'96 for plow mount ???

I'm about to buy an '84 Eddie Bauer 351cc to use as a plow truck. The plow I'm planning to use is off an '86 Eddie 351. The '84 is 100 miles away and I want to know if the frames are the same so the plow mount will fit or if I'll have to spend the money to modify the mount.
I assume they would be but you know what they say about assuming things.
Are the frames on all the '78 - '96 Big Bronco's the same?
Actually the plow I really want (if I can get it) is off an '87 F250.....can any one tell me if the frames on the Bronco are the same size in front as the F250, or maybe the F150, or both?

The short answer is no. The frames of the 1980-91 are very similar but not identical as I know it. The 78-79 is a different animal all together. The 92+ frames have an odd accordion type stiffening sections at the front end of the frame between the bumper and the core support.

The frame differences between the 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton trucks are unknown to me but someone here knows.

Yes I am sure. but I am concerned about those arm bracket from plow mount to near shock mount maybe need mod little from coil spring and leaf spring.

Mount will fit frame but I am talk about those 2 arm on bottom of mount to frame.

Question '84 BIG BRONCO PLOW SET UP

Another question....the differentials are listed as "(9"rear/dana front)".
Is that dana front the straight axle with leaf springs or the independent with coil springs?

That's odd because I looked at an '86 Bronco the other day that had leafs in front, it sat up high front and back like it had a lift but I'm too ignorant about that stuff to tell. I didn't notice what type axle, didn't even know that there were different kinds.
Do you suppose somebody put an older straight axle or an F250 set up in it?

its possible. but there has never been a stock bronco with leafs in the front, they've been coils in all generations.

possibly, since the first broncos in 66 to the last ones in 96 they have always had coils up front stock. another thing is they run 5 lug axles stock where f250s n up which have leafs run 8 lugs.

A Mystery ?.......this had 5 lug chrome wheels, w/leafs.....I remember looking at the front of the spring bracket where it mounted to the outside of the frame to see if it had been extended.

Also, do doors from F150 or F250 fit the Bronco?
