Exclamation don't know where to look for help

so I have several fords all 5-spd I bought a 93 E-350 has a 7.5l (460) with a E40d trans that totaly burnt up so looking for a trans .. what all trans are interchangeble can i put a 5-spd in it did ford offer E-350 with 5-spds? will other e40d trans work in it ?

was told i can put a C6 in place will that work?

all the 460s have the same bellhousing bolt pattern, so any trans like a c-6 from 460 a
c-4 with a big block bell housing will work. Post your question over in the 385 series area and you will get some better responces with more detail.
