Chirp/squeek in passenger side of dash

2009 F250 CC 6.4
Today while driving I started noticing a chirping noise coming from the dash on the passenger side. It sounds like a fan going bad, but even if I shut the heat off the noise is still there. Engine RPM doesn't make a difference, it's a continuous chirp, chirp, chirp. Any ideas??

On some models, the fan never shuts, it just goes on low.. could that be it?

Could be? I had thought that too, but have no idea if the fan continues to run or not. Tomorrow I'll see if I can find and pull the fuse for the fan and see if the chirp stops. Thanks for the insight.

Well that makes sense, I assumed the fan was buried up under the dash. Good to know its accessable. Thanks again for the help, I'll check it out tomorrow when it's light out.

Bet you a six pack it's the center console. Don't lean on it the next time you hear the chirp.

No better beer then a free beer, as long as it's cold. Chirps while parked in the driveway. Doesn't matter if the truck is moving or not so I don't think it's the console.

Same kinda thing

Mine seems to do the same thing. Kind of a chirp squeeky thing. Seems to be while accelerating. But, does not match rpm or anything. I have been wondering what it was for almost a year.

My 2009 king Ranch does the same . I would describe the sound as an old styro-foam cooler . If anyone figures this out please post . In addition I have the 5.4l gas engine and there is a tapping from the motor when going from idle to forward movement . Sound familiar to anyone ?

My 2009 had a ticking sound behind the dash on the passenger side but I really would not call it a squeak. It wound up being the passenger side dual climate control blend door actuator. I had it fixed at the delersip for around $250.00. The part was only $30.00 but I did not feel like taking a day off of work to tear into the dash. It would have been worse if it had been on the drivers side because the whole dash would have had to come out. The irritatating thing about this is now I think the driver's side one is starting to go out which does not surprise me because Ford has A TSB out on this. I just wish some customer financial assistance was included with a TSB. By the way my truck is a 2009 model with about 45,000 miles on it.

I have a similar issue with my '09 250 6.4 and was actually able to recreate it for a Ford mechanic after driving the truck for 15 minutes. After the truck warms up, a noise comes from what appears to be the climate control system in the dash. The mechanic thought it to be a climate control servo going bad or having a faulty connection, triggering it to adjust a flap or the like constantly. The truck is going in next week to repair the issue. I'll let you all know the outcome.
