DOES ANYONE HAVE THE SRL++ TUNE FROM MATT AT GEARHEAD?

IF YOU HAVE THIS TUNE WHAT ARE YOUR EGT'S?? AND WHAT ARE YOUR HIGHEST READING ??

I can punch 1300 egts with just the SRL so I watch my gauge and it has an alarm

I have all stock exhausst untill next month

what are you seeing? or is it just a question ?

i do not have the tune yet. i hear 1250 for more then 5min you will hurt your motor.?

I wouldn't do it that long ,, I hit it for about 30 seconds max

but there are so many variables like where u put the probe
etc

I would Get a EGT gauge .. get Matt's tune and if u notice High EGT's have Him dial it down

also remember u get different tunes for towing

I saw your other thread you have an EGR delete correct ?

yes i have egr delete,cfm+,head studs,4"turbo back cat delete,amsoil oil bypass

you may get away with higher EGT's if your EGR delete isn't letting exhaust into the top end

Highest EGT I have had was under 1100. The boost tops out at 28. My Edge Insight records max values. With your larger exhaust, I don't think you will have any problems, so long as you don't tow.

I've towed through the desert at 1250 for hours.

Typically you'll see higher EGT's at the beginning of a WOT run, and then the temps will fall and stabilize. Short blasts with EGT's above 1500 are not uncommon.
