Is it true what ive been hearing about ford puttin the Cummins diesel and the Allison Trannys in them in 2012?

Yep. Ford's ditching the 6.7 after one model year.

 

Saw a magazine article where someone put a cummins and an allison into a SuperDuty. Didn't read anything but the cover blurb, but maybe someone was a little confused.

 

a few people that "supposedly" keep up with all the new **** everybody is comin out with told me bout it. i didnt believe it but hell ya never kno.

Yeah, I didn't get to read the article, but it looked pretty sweet. 40k, huh? I'll have to check the pants I just ran through the wash, probably left the cash in there.

the new cummins isnt the same reliable beast as the older 5.9 and that allison doesnt really impress me over the torqshift as far as reliability and preformance but i dont have alot of personal experience with either mostly just an opinion from what ive been told and read
