Sounds good Ted .... Is your parts rig a '78 ? I think the '79's had a metal chrome strip around the insert ... no matter, lemme know what the other guy says .... I ended up dying a dash pad , so dont need one at the moment ....
That is an odd combo truck you have ... a standard 4x4 Lariat w/out cruise or tilt or a/c ... Does it have a 460? Hows the rest of the truck? Hows the seat look under that seat cover? I had mine re-done w/ original ford material from SMS .... PRICEY...
Yep it's a 78 F150 4x4. No 460, it's a 300/NP435/NP205, 3.50 gears.
It's not in great shape. But I can't complain. It's pretty damn good for a drivable $500 1978 4x4 from Minnesota.
I'm the third owner. The guy I bought it from said the original owner said he special ordered a truck with everything he wanted. So it is a bit of a weird combo.
I bought it just for the chassis/drivetrain. I'm going to shorten the frame 23" and mount a 1954 F100 body on it.
