Newbie with a 1949 F3

Hi

Thought I would introduce myself as a newbie on here

I am based in the UK but shipped over a 1949 F3 last year. Its a very solid / complete truck which was a none runner when I got it but with a few hours of tinkering the engine ran!

I plan to keep the truck pretty original albeit lowered slightly with all mechanical parts overhauled.

Here are some photos of when I first took delivery:

I have a few questions which i hope people on here will be able to help me with, i'll post seperately.

Thanks

Andrew

Welcome to FTE, Andrew. Your F-3 looks like a solid truck. Good luck with it...

Nice truck. Why do you want to lower a 1 ton truck? I really like the up-and-tough stance of my F-2.

Thanks for the comments.

Its only going down a few inches, I like them that way. Personal preference I guess.
