CD players?

Hey guys, getting ready to swap my Factory ford CD player out for an aftermarket one....What do you guys run for cd players? Id like a remote and it to have the AUX plug in the front. I want to be able to plug my Sirius radio into the deck to get better tune. Anyone interested in the Factory cd player?

Kenwood kdc-MP238
usb port and aux. Has a remote and sub out by itself. Me and my brother both run them. And a coworker has it in his boat

i used the factory tape deck until last year. wish i had it back. i replaced it with a jvc with remote and AUX in front. i hate it! if you lose the remote, it is almost impossible to change the channel. but i do like to be able to plug in the ipod.

you can get the harness from autozone. just solder it up to the radio and plug it in. no trim needed, itll fit right in

You definitely want a deck with a usb not just an aux because it will charge your ipod or mp3 player and play it at the same time plus show you the song title on it. I just installed this one yesterday has sub and amp outs remote and usb. $124 from wally world. Its a sony xplod. Yes you will have to do some wiring. I spliced mine with the quick connect bullet connectors so I can remove it without haveing to rewire it if I ever get a dvd player one

I have a Jenson 7" flip out touch screen. It has the usb and aux port in the front. I like it because I can plugg a back up camera into it from the back of the cd player and have a nice size screen to see. That's very handy backing to a trailer. Oh yeah and it has the remote.

When you pull the radio out you will find it at the other end of the cable.

You have to splice the blue wire to the red wire on the adapter harness to get the amp to kick on. And make sure the adapter harness you get is the same plug before you open it. There are two different ones. The 1994 has the factory amp but my 96 doesn't and the harness wouldn't work. No sound for some reason.

But it's basically color match the wires for the most part and plug the plugs in. The cd player comes with a metal case that will slide right in place where the factory head unit was. Bend a few tabs to hold it in place. Hook the wire into the back of the stereo and slide it in. And your good

Use the U shaped tools to remove radio, you can find them at most auto part stores.
