tach install on efi 460

1996 f350 7.5l zf5 speed trans 4x4 no factory tachometer going to pick one up for$ 50 from advance auto

How does it install?

Find a power wire under your dash, if you have a brake controller you can use it, next you'll need to ground a lead on the tach., after this there is a wire to hook up to the light switch, (I actually ran the wire through the fire wall and spliced off the parking light wire), I did that because your last step will be to hook the last wire to the negative (-) wire on your ignition coil. To save a step, mine wasnt marked, not that I could see anyway, on the factory plug into the coil its the green wire on the bottom. Other than that you just need to find a good place to mount it thats not in the way from your other gauges or in your way of seeing properly. They are easy to install
