I went with the Ford HD. Only 1500 miles on it, but 95% of those were pulling my 5th wheel.

I had to save the bucks with the Ford HD. I want Stage 1 injectors and the difference between the HD and the JW will pay for them.

Of course, I won't tell Ford that I am running stage 1 injectors.

They can be had for a little over $3k + shipping.

Buy it from Ed. It will help him lose my VIN.

I tow a TT@ 8k empty, installed a John Woods towmaster trans in Dec 09. 18k on it since and no problems. I run it with a DP in 80 econo most of the time and 60 or 80 tow when towing. Shifts great. If you were keeping your rig, don't understand why you are not, then I would say JW all the way. If you really are offing her then save some coin. JW runs great tuned with the DP. John is great to deal with also.
