My F150 would not start so I reasoned that it was the FPDM. I replaced it and VOILA it started without any hesitation. Now the check engine ICON remains on. Will it eventually go away after a few driving cycles? Or does it mena that something else is going on?
It could be someting else going on. I'd run a scan to see what's in there. If it's a P0191 code, it's most probably from the FPDM and I'd just clear it. You could just clear it and see if it comes back, but I like knowing what's going on so that's why I suggested running a scan.
