Nitto Terra Grappler - 295-70R18 - 2011 F250
Anyone have pictures, opinions, or advice they would like to share regarding these tires on a 2011 F250 with stock 18" wheels? They would be replacing the 275-70r18 Continentals that Ford puts on them.
p.s. - 2011 F250 has plow package and camper package

Can't comment on your specific size but i have the 285/75/17E's on my 06. I am relatively pretty happy with their performance in the rain/snow. I have about 30k+ on them and havent rotated them. It's not like me to not rotate but the few times i made the attempt i had some other emergency to take care of and add the procastination factor... well anyway they balanced great and have worn quite evenly and still seem to be pretty good. They are not a long wearing tire so i will probably be replacing before winter 2011.(installed 5/09) They are a little more bouncy than the stock BFG's i had on it.
Again, pretty happy with them. I may consider a longer wearing tire after these, but will probably have to purchase new rims. I purchased these as they were one of the few larger and narrowest tire i could find with the stock 7.5" rim, had good reviews and look good. Not too noisy on the highway either and have held the proper air pressure well.

Not to hijack, but do you have any side pics you could share. I was looking at the same tires (or the Toyo AT's) in the same size for my 06. I like the idea of a 34" tire that's not extremely wide. I think the 285/75/17 would be ideal for me but there's not a lot of choices out there. Would love to see how they look compared to the 265/70/17's I'm running now. Thanks.

I also chose the Nitto Terra's in a 295-70-18.
Had them on for a year now, they seem to work great in the rain and pretty good in snow, Ice- forget about it.
Lost about 2 mpg over the hard rubber OEM Conticraps. but again, these are not 275 Highway Treads either, they are A/T's.
I think they look good with the staggered lugs. My main reason for buying them was the 295 size in a 10 ply with a name for $200 per OTD! Now that's a bargain for a well built non China 10 ply 35" tire.

You can get a 285/75/18 Toyo A/T that's 34.8" tall. It'll fit your stock wheel just fine.

Sturg - I've got that exact tire and size on my 06. You can check them out by looking at my gallery (photos of the tires on the truck should be at the end of the album). They fill out the wheel wells right nice and I don't think you can go bigger without a lift. I've had them for just over a year now and have been pleased with their performance. They ride smooth as glass and the installer commented how easy it was to balance them. My mileage experience was similar with Bench's.
