Where are you located? What is your truck doing that they want $8500 to fix it?

If you're near Omaha, go to Baxter Ford, out at 182nd and West Dodge Road. Joe Flaherty, a buddy of mine, works out there, and he is an expert on the 6.0. He is the only mech I will let touch any of my trucks. Joe is a good guy, and won't screw you. Let me know if your going to take it there, and I can give him a heads up that your on FTE.

Well guys I towed it to c&c in bennington today. Seem like a good buch of younger guys that know powerstrokes. After visiting with Chris I can make out my trucks not as bad off as my first mechanic made it out to be but I just might spend the 4 g and have him do his 6.0 bullet proof set up. Chris said they have don 5-600 of them with great results. I hate to say it but if I don't do the "bullet proof" set up I think I will be looking of a 07 dodge mega cab.

I will let you guys know what I find out from C&C next week when they have time to pull it into the shop. Good thing I have my trust 99 F250 V-10 with 230,000 miles on it to drive until I get my 6.0 back. it even pulled my 6.0 170+ miles to bennington with out a hitch....well just $120 bucks in gas I guess.

Thanks to everyone for your help!!!
