I just got my incredible today, it is already turning out to be a great phone. so many features and a great camera

 

lets see here. well i rooted my droid 2 and i love it even more!!! no more ads on apps killer battery life and now free wifi/ mobile hotspot.. and i can truely customize my phone now..and it is really fast too..

what i did

i loaded z4root
then i selected gummy jar as my new mod
and then i loaded black theme, which has a sweet menu layout!

 

how come when i open advanced task killer there is so much random crap running? like skype, amazon, mail, maps?? nothing i have used yet? but i have it set to kill when i turn the screen off

 

thats because it is verizon bloatware running..the only way to kill those apps unless opened is to root your phone..beleive me i tried..

 

Getting a Motorola Milestone --- please explain what " rooting " your phone is????

 

lol is there any way to change your "Scene" without erasing all your pages you setup? decided to see what changing your scene would do and it messed it all up lol

rooting your phone is gaining super user authority over your phone..basically giving you full acess to your phone..

which allows you to run any operating system you want and using any apps you want among much more...i cant explain it all but i did all my research on android forums..

 

rooting is to Android what jailbreaking is to iPhone. sort of...

 

right joe.. lol from what i have found there isnt an easy way to explain it lol

 

Do (or did) you have TiKL? I'm trying to get my brother to download it so I can try it. Is it any good?
