1997 Ford Powerstroke

Curious if it's safe to run B20 or higher is my PSD? Are my hoses bio safe?

Thanks..

Your good to go with any amount of bio, and all hoses after 1994 are ok also.

That's really great news since I have B20 available in Santa Fe and I think B100 in Albuquerque..

You should carry a spare fuel filter if you start using high concentrations of bio. It WILL clean your entire fuel system......

The main fuel filter is about 20 bucks a pop and then someone before me installed inline fuel filters about halfway up the truck. I did run a tank or so through the truck when I got it last October. I did like the smell of the exhaust way better, even on B20.. Since October I've been using additives in regular diesel..
