Jim, I lifted a buddies 2003 dually a few years ago. I put a 6.5" lift on it and he ran 35" pro comp tires on stock rims. He had no issues with them, tires held up pretty good. He wanted to run 38's but didn't have money to get them. Before we installed the 6.5"lift he had 2.5" leveling kit with 35's. I will try to post some pic for you.
