Finally decided to drag the old bronco out and take it for a warm up spin. The battery was dead but otherwise it did fine. Put a few gallons in the tank and this weekend there is a small BBQ at a Co workers house, his room mate wanted to see the truck so I figured I'd drive it. Seeing as its only a few miles I shouldn't have to worry about the brakes.
Thanks Capt'n, this was only a small mud pit what I call "The suspension testing area" since it has some nice potholes and bumps in it. If I hit it at about 10mph I can get my passenger to bump their head and my toolbox in the back to be visible in the mirror. It is fun for a stress reliever too.
Haha, thanks for the offer odd. I'll get it done eventually, it needs everything from lines, booster, master, calipers, pads, and the pressure switch. The rear brakes are fairly new so I won't worry about those. I had a cart on one of the online parts places that had everything in it and was waiting for me to buy them. I never got around to it and have since been sending most of my funds into savings rather than getting more parts.
I agree on how nice the truck looks, but making it haul brush and do other work again?
The restoration and should have granted it a "Pretty and Posing" as well as its deserved retirement.
