Well, Spending half of last night in the tub thinking a tornado was going to hit was not my ideal way of celebrating New years eve
Just glad it didn't tear anything up over here and thankful no one was hurt were it did hit We just got our power back on, been off since about 5 yesterday evening .
Sooo..HAPPY NEW YEAR..
HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GOOD 2010 AND HAVE EVEN A BETTER 2011
Glad everyone is safe. We watched em' go east, west, & south of us on the radar.
Proudly watched my team dominate a major school decisively in all areas during a national bowl game ... imediately followed by the national media & all associated nay-sayers "explaining" that its all the opposing coach's fault.
Happy 2011 everyone. Ordered the electric wiper motor for "Old Betsy" last week. Taking the bed, rear fenders, hood, and bumpers to be sandblasted this afternoon. Hoping I will be driving her around before 4th of July. Harley
well, the way I look at bowl season is at least Ole Miss didn't get beaten by anyone
That's good stuff there! Good to see you posting.

Harley, Can't wait to see her on the road, I know you'll be glad. Get some primer on those bare metal pieces, they'll flash rust in no time in this humidity, 97% right now.
Well, my team didn't make a bowl appearance; of course a 4-8 record is hardly justification for an invite to a bowl game. Still, I am a Tulane student (yes, I am a student at 42!) and I love my teams.
How do you like going to the Tulane campus? Thinking of "educating" myself... Course, probably be starting over since my AD degree in nursing
I go to the satellite campus in Madison, MS. Tulane opened it last year as Tulane University School of Continuing Studies and I like it very much! Working full-time and attending part-time is strenuous but the fact I am using my GI Bill benefits that I earned makes it all worthwhile
One thing I found is, I am the oldest student there. I'm going to classes with people young enough to be my kids!
