Just finished pulling my front tank and have some questions

Ok story is this is a 1990 Ford F150 Extended cab Some of you may be familiar with from the 87-96 forum. I pulled the tank cause the Fuel pumps dead BOY is it ever dead!!!! so upon removal I discovered 3 lines running to the tank the two running to the fuel pump the line to the engine and the fuel return line I'm assuming and the then one that just plugged into the top of the tank I assume is for Gas vapor right???

2nd portion of my question. How would I go about plumbing it to be essentially a single tank truck??? it looked like both the fuel return line and the fuel line the the engine are on T connectors is this the case and if so would a pair of those double sided nipple adapter things from Napa put in there inplace of those T Connectors suffice to completely eliminate the front tank from the equation. Thanks in advance fellas I appreciate it 2011 is getting off to a good start!!!!

Pictures to come tomorrow unless they aren't needed. I Will provide a picture of the electrical plug though talk about nasty and pathetic

Sounds like a plan. Just eliminate the T's with something. Does the 90 use the frame mounted high pressure pump or the high pressure pump in each tank? Just make sure that the connections can hold up to the high pressure of the pump.

Yeah it's the setup with the fuel pumps in the tank that do everything. No frame mounted pressure pump on this truck. They switched it in 1990 to this setup, which seems easier to service anyway. but I'm still getting code 95CM which is Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit Failed. and this after eliminating the front pump completely so my interpretation is the codes refering to the remaining pump which is the rear tank pump.

It could be. It also may run a self test and is just not seeing the missing pump. If it runs ok, I wouldn't worry about the code.
